Essential oils are extracted directly from plants, while fragrance oils blend natural extracts with synthesized ingredients. Both offer distinct advantages. Essential oils can be highly potent and may cause skin irritation or allergic reactions. Fragrance oils, on the other hand, offer a longer-lasting scent and are generally safer, especially for pets. At Kirri, we use fragrance oils in many products, always exceeding safety standards set by the International Fragrance Association (IFRA).
