Not necessarily. It depends on how the app is removed:

If you uninstall the app without selecting ‘delete data’, your settings, schedules, and connected diffusers will be saved and automatically restored when you reinstall.

If you uninstall and choose ‘delete data’, all saved information—including profiles, preferences, and device pairings—will be permanently deleted..
