Natural fragrance ingredients are unstable. It is how fragrances are produced; the molecules are breaking down and dissipating. These ingredients will most likely become brighter or darker if they are subjected to changes in sunlight or temperature.

After the fragrance diffuser solution has been opened, it will oxidize. The fragrance in the diffuser reacts with oxygen, changing its colour in the same way as a sliced apple changes colour when exposed to air. This should not affect performance or quality.

To maintain the characteristics of your fragrance oil blend for as long as possible, store it in a dark amber container away from direct sunlight in a cold, dark area.
