Can I put the Concrete Candle under an overhead sprinkler?Updated 11 days ago
Great inquiry. In reality, we have never once heard of it activating a sprinkler. Sprinkler heads are programmed to activate when the surrounding air temperature reaches 155–165 degrees. The air rising from the Concrete Candle is, in principle, hotter than the surrounding air. But it would also need to be burning a few feet below the sprinkler head in addition to directly beneath it. This shouldn't happen since the tables are three feet tall and the ceiling is eight feet high. Nevertheless, safety should be ensured by avoiding placing the underwear directly beneath the sprinkler head.
