Are Kirri products tested on animals?Updated a month ago

At Kirri, we take pride in offering fragrance oils that are not tested on animals and do not contain animal-derived products. We are committed to eliminating animal testing and exclusively conduct clinical trials using volunteer panels for testing our finished products.

Our corporate policy is clear: We do not and will not test our products or ingredients on animals, nor have we authorized anyone to do so on our behalf. We rely on reputable resources to gather any necessary toxicological information.

Kirri provides high-quality fragrance oils for conscientious consumers seeking natural, cruelty-free products. We require all our suppliers to adhere to the same strict no-animal-testing policy.

We are dedicated to promoting and endorsing alternatives to animal testing globally. To explore and fund innovative solutions, we collaborate closely with the broader industry and the international scientific community.

Our fragrance oils are free from synthetic ingredients and are verified as such. They are made from naturally derived aromatic extracts and pure natural fragrance oils sourced from high-quality botanical ingredients. For detailed ingredient information, please refer to the product description of each fragrance oil.

Our fragrances are 100% safe, sourced locally and internationally (from the USA and France), and are IFRA approved. We prioritize consumer health and safety and ensure that our products comply with legal regulations in every country where they are sold.

The International Fragrance Association (IFRA), established in 1973 in Geneva, serves as the global governing body for the fragrance industry, promoting shared values and the safe enjoyment of fragrances worldwide.

IFRA nurtures creativity and delight among its members while addressing consumer needs and holding them accountable for safety and satisfaction.

Additionally, IFRA operates the Research Institute for Fragrance Materials (RIFM), which allows its regulatory team to apply “best practice” scientific methods to fragrance material usage guidelines, ensuring that member companies voluntarily adhere to these standards.

All scientific findings from RIFM are evaluated by an impartial Expert Panel, comprising dermatologists, pathologists, toxicologists, and environmental experts with no ties to the fragrance industry.

Kirri is committed to complying with IFRA regulations and standards, and we will only offer fragrances that are 100% IFRA compliant.
